Neutralization tanks are used in industries where acidic or alkaline wastewater needs to be neutralized before discharge into the environment. The installation kit connects the tank to a sink outlet. The kit comes with 12" of pipe, 1.5" MNPT inlet and sink outlet adapters, and can be modified on-site. Limestone chips are being used in numerous applications to help neutralize chemical-bearing wastes. It is recommended that the limestone chips be one to three inches in diameter and have a calcium carbonate content above 90%. Limestone chips effectively neutralize acidic or alkaline wastewater within neutralization tanks, ensuring environmental regulations and water quality compliance.
