Micro-Line is a biologically stable material developed to meet the most stringent requirements for a non-toxic, non-contaminating environment. Micro-Line is translucent, odorless and tasteless mini-bore tubing that offers practical solutions to problems encountered in biological or clinical laboratories and hospitals. This tubing meets FDA Regulation 21CFR177.1350, and meets or exceeds USP Class VI and National Formulary Vo. 14. There are no plasticizers used in the manufacturing of Micro-Line and there is no leaching or migration. It is very flexible with virtually no kinking and it retains flexibility in sub-zero temperatures as well as resists age hardening. It has a durometer of 90A and a tensile strength of 2700 PSI. The elongation at break is 690%. It has a brittleness temp of -159°F, with an operating temperature range of -29°F to 250°F. It is able to retain 100% plastic memory. Excelon SL® Flexible, Non-Allergenic PVC Tubing
Softer and more pliable than most conventional flexible PVC tubes, Excelon SL® offers superior elongation, high retention memory and flex qualities that make it the tubing choice for a wide range of uses, including: peristaltic pumps, urinary drain sets and other disposable, non-invasive medical devices, pump tubes for paint mixing and soap dispensing, and beverage processing and spouts. It is a non-toxic and non-allergenic alternative for latex or silicone tubing. It is natural translucent in color. It can be sterilized under standard gamma or gas methods with a maximum recommended working temperature of 180°F. The brittleness temperature is -67°F. Excelon SL® is manufactured from materials that meet FDA title 21 and USP Class VI. Also, tubes have a durometer of 50A, a tensile strength of 1400 PSI, a specific gravity of 1.17 and the elongation at break is 400%.
