They are also suitable for pharmaceutical packaging and applications. These tubes are fitted with leakproof screw caps, making them an excellent choice to store, transport, or freeze samples. The FreezeTech™ Temperature Indicator Patch starts turning blue at 4°C and becomes dark blue when the tube and its contents reach 0°C. The indicator patch returns to its original transparent gray color as the sample temperature approaches 4°C and above. This serves as a warning that critical samples may be reaching undesirable temperatures, making it the ideal vessel for transport of temperature-sensitive materials.
