TALON™ Water Soluble Paste Flux is a completely water-soluble, acid-free, and lead-free flux designed for reliable soldering performance across a wide range of tin solders and alloys. The non-corrosive, non-fuming formula provides self-cleaning action for strong, consistent solder joints. It easily solders dissimilar metals and performs exceptionally well on older or tarnished copper without the need for brushing or sanding. This flux leaves no residue, will not transfer taste or odor in potable water systems, and withstands overheating by retaining its effectiveness in the joint area. TALON™ Flux is ideal for soldering 95/5, 60/40, 50/50, 40/60, and lead-free solders on copper, lead-free copper alloys, brass, Performance Bronze™ alloy, silicon bronze, galvanized iron, tin, steel, terne plate, zinc, silver, nickel, and sheet lead.
