King CuttingColors® is a solid, high density polyethylene sheet for buffets, salad bars, butcher blocks, commercial and consumer cutting boards, food preparation and packaging, food processing components, and other food applications. It is the product of a proprietary process called K-Stran™, the most advanced manufacturing process for superior flatness and consistency. The matte finish is available in five different colors to help prevent cross-contamination among different food types and allergies: raw meat, fish, produce, poultry, and cooked meat. The color-coded polymer sheets also help avoid cross-contamination of food-borne pathogens such as salmonella and E-coli. The non-porous surface does not absorb food odors, making it easy to clean and sanitize. To clean, scrub the material with a firm bristle brush and professional-strength detergent to remove any residue or stains, then rinse with hot water. Sanitize with a 10% bleach solution and rinse thoroughly with cold water. The King CuttingColors® board is also dishwasher safe; for the best results, remove it from the dishwasher before the drying cycle and allow it to air dry.
