These ball valves are engineered with a self-adjusting seat and upstream and downstream blocking capability to stop flow when an alternate union is removed for servicing the piping system. The valve's injection-molded polypropylene construction, with either an EPDM or FKM O-ring, is ideal for hot corrosive liquids, chemical processing, industrial plating, laboratory and industrial waste drainage, and waste treatment systems. The original Chemtrol® True Union design allows the valve and operational components to be conveniently lifted from the piping system for repair or replacement. Tru-Bloc® advances the True Union concept with the self-adjusting energizer O-ring. Due to its excellent tensile strength, UV stability, and versatile chemical resistance properties, the black polypropylene construction is the material of choice for harsh industrial, outdoor, and underground applications.
