Nylon Retaining Washers

These high-performance, non-metallic retaining washers are designed to secure, space, insulate, and protect in a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, and structural applications. With their ability to grip shafts, screws, bolts, or rods via snug or interference fit, these retaining washers are particularly useful for fastener retention in vertical or pre-assembly settings. Their built-in spacing and insulating qualities make them perfect for use in electronics, while their cushioning effect helps reduce vibration and noise and prevent surface damage in sensitive assemblies and soft materials. Note: Nylon is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs and releases water; to prevent brittleness due to drying out, a small amount of moisture may be included in the bag. If needed, the washers can be rehydrated by sealing them with water in a closed container.
