These vertical gravity backdraft dampers are designed to prevent reverse airflow in corrosive air handling systems, helping protect equipment and reduce the risk of contaminated air re-entering occupied spaces. Constructed entirely of PVC, including the body, damper plate, and shaft, they provide excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, and chemical vapors. Designed for use with round Schedule 40 PVC ducting, these dampers operate automatically using gravity and are intended for vertical installation only. With minimal airflow restriction and a tight sealing design, they deliver reliable performance in demanding industrial and chemical environments.
