Qwik-Lok® and Quad-Lok fittings are part of a quick connect marine plumbing system designed to boost productivity, quality, and value while reducing costs. The innovative Qwik-Lok® socket fits industry-standard marine hose and connects to the hose ends, replacing standard barbed fittings and eliminating crimping and tightening a hose clamp in hard-to-reach areas. The superior O-ring seals ensure tight, leakproof connections, eliminating the need for silicone and other sealants and allowing hose rotation without stress on pumps and fittings. The hydrophobic, non-water-absorbent materials of the fittings extend the lifespan of parts and minimize replacements. The non-clogging, restriction-free passageways prevent backups and maximize performance in livewells, baitwells, ballast bags, bilge plumbing, gray water systems, deck drainage, and other marine plumbing applications. The fittings feature latching arms that hold the socket securely in place and a locking ring that locks the latching arms and is used for 2-finger socket removal. The Quad-Lok fittings feature a more robust design and a 4-finger locking ring. Installation: With the locking ring back out of the locked position and into the neutral position, push the end of the hose onto the fitting until the socket snaps into place, then push the locking ring into the latch and locked position. To remove, grasp the same locking ring and pull. The latches will automatically disengage, and the hose will be free.
