Plast-O-Matic VBM & VBS Diaphragm Vacuum Breakers

These valves protect enclosed tanks from collapse or structural damage during draining. They also eliminate the siphoning of dangerous fluids and prevent vacuuming, which can cause damage to sensitive instruments and filters.

• PVC, CPVC, polypropylene, or glass-filled polypropylene
• EPDM or FKM
• The VBS series features a corrosion-resistant PFA encapsulated spring which acts on a poppet seal
• Dependable, repetitive, bubble-tight sealing
• Only one moving part – the patented self-sealing diaphragm
• Normally-closed design
• Begin to break a vacuum at approximately 2" Hg (1.0 psi or 0.07 Bar negative pressure)
• Threaded connections
• Maximum pressure: 100 psi @ 75°F
• Maximum temperature: 140°F (PVC) & 180°F (PP & CPVC)
