This actuator comes with polypropylene housing for superior corrosion resistance and is made for light duty applications. The Nema 4/4X polypropylene housing can stand up to harsh environmental conditions and corrosive conditions, places where a metal actuator has to be painted or coated just to survive. It is the best choice for true union valves up to 2" where a manual override is not required and control options are not needed. It is standard with motor brake for precise control of the actuation cycle. Also standard is one auxiliary limit switch which permits control of a remote electrical device. Plus, a thermal overload circuit protects the UL/CSA-listed motor from burnout and overheating. It includes a wiring terminal strip. Designed for true union ball valves, it has a 90° uni-directional rotation and a 115 VAC @ 1.8 AMP motor with a 25% duty cycle. The 20890 EAU28 Actuator is for TW series valves 1/2" - 2". Additional options are available; contact us for a quote. TW series valves include the price of the mounting kit, but the valve and actuator must still be ordered at the same time to eliminate the additional cost of the mounting kit.
