Made from high-quality soda lime glass, the slides offer excellent durability and clarity at a more economical price than premium white glass alternatives. Due to its higher iron content, the soda lime glass has a natural greenish tint. The standard shelf life for soda lime glass microscope slides is approximately 2 years if proper transportation and storage conditions are followed. The slides with ground edges feature 90° ground edges and corners, making them excellent choices for use in automatic cover slip machines. Available in a variety of bright, attractive colors for color coding, the slides feature a colored, frosted labeling area with "Globe" printed under the frosting area for easy orientation.
