These vented caps enable a continuous pressure compensation with gaseous liquids to prevent containers from swelling and collapsing. The high-quality membranes used for the venting system are hydrophobic and oleophobic so that they are not moistened even by fluids with low surface tension. The SAVE (SAfety VEnt) system has a wedge-like design. The membrane is welded at a 60° angle, enabling liquids to drain immediately, leaving the membrane unobstructed and air permeable. If the canister falls over, no splash protection is needed, as the fluid flows past the beveled membrane rather than hitting it head-on. Also equipped with a tamper-evident ring and an EPE sealing ring, these caps are excellent for use with liquid foods, agrochemicals, cleaners, hygiene and care products, and industrial chemicals.
