The woven stainless steel mesh is ideal for capturing larger particles and offers excellent chemical and temperature resistance. The nylon (Polyamide 66, or PA66) housing is a tough thermoplastic with excellent thermal stability, making it ideal for automotive, electrical, and industrial parts. It is highly durable for general manufacturing and research use, but is not intended for food, water, or implantable medical applications.
