Syphons

These one-piece syphons are particularly useful for all applications where the risk of infection or toxicity prohibits mouth pipetting. The plastic material is an excellent substitute for breakable glass pipettes. Because they are disposable, there is no need to worry about the cross-contamination associated with reusable rubber bulbs. Graduated pipettes (non-bellow style) feature molded-in graduation marks that will never fade or wash off. Narrow stem syphons have long, thin stems that are flexible and bendable to access narrow openings and small diameter tubes. The fine-tip option is ideal for dispensing small volumes, loading hemocytometers, and transferring liquid to and from multi-well plates. Extra-long pipettes are excellent for reaching into large bottles, 24-hour urine containers, jars, and cylinders. The leakproof bellow-style bulbs are ergonomic to reduce finger strain and provide excellent drop formation. The non-sterile syphons (except for the bellows style) are packaged in a unique dispenser box with a hinged front panel that can easily be opened for quick access to the pipettes and closed to keep the contents clean. Sterile syphons are individually wrapped for further protection.
