Justrite® Sure-Grip® EX Corrosive Safety Cabinets provide secure, code-compliant storage for acids and other aggressive chemicals, with specialized features that resist corrosion and simplify maintenance. In addition to the same trusted safety features found in Justrite® flammable cabinets—including double-wall steel construction, dual vents, grounding wire connections, adjustable shelves, leakproof sills, leveling feet, and three-point doors—these corrosive storage cabinets include polyethylene trays mounted to galvanized steel shelves and a removable polyethylene sump liner that protects against chemical attack and allows for easy cleanup of drips and leaks. The popular 30-gallon, two-door model also features a removable polyethylene top work tray that can be secured to the cabinet top, creating a convenient work surface. Exclusive Sure-Grip® EX features include a U-Loc™ padlockable paddle handle with slip-resistant grip for secure, fingertip operation; Haz-Alert™ reflective warning labels that enhance cabinet visibility during fire conditions or power outages; and galvanized steel SpillSlope™ safety shelves that direct incidental spills to the rear and into the leakproof sump. Shelves adjust on 3" centers and support up to 350 lbs. of evenly distributed weight. The cabinets with self-closing doors automatically shut and latch when a fusible link melts at 165°F (74°C). These cabinets help contain hazardous materials during fire emergencies while providing unobstructed access through a concealed closing mechanism. To accommodate a variety of storage applications and space constraints, cabinets are available in freestanding, undercounter, piggyback, countertop, Compac, and slim space-saver configurations. Piggyback models mount on top of standard 30- and 45-gallon safety cabinets to create additional storage without consuming floor space, while countertop, Compac, and slim cabinets maximize storage efficiency by keeping corrosive chemicals accessible in tight work areas and at point-of-use locations.
