Tube inserts are an essential component when installing tubing that is too soft, flexible, or thin-walled to create a secure seal with a compression fitting alone. By fitting inside the end of the tubing, the insert reinforces the tube's interior, helping maintain its shape under compression and ensuring a dependable connection. This added support allows the compression nut to properly grip and seal the tubing, preventing leaks and improving overall performance. Without an insert, very soft tubing may deform or collapse during installation, compromising the seal. The Kynar® PVDF body material provides exceptional resistance to highly corrosive chemicals, UV exposure, abrasion, and mechanical wear, and is recommended for use with Kynar® PVDF, PTFE, FEP, and PFA tubing.
