Finely divided particles of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) are suspended in the melt during polymerization. MoS2, a solid lubricant, is successfully used in metal applications for lubrication. Nycast® 6PA MoS2 combines the advantages of a polymer and a successfully approved lubricant in one fascinating material.
