What is the shelf life of CPC™ connectors?

A connector's shelf life depends upon the connector materials and storage conditions. CPC™ manufactures quick disconnect couplings and connections from various metal, plastic, and elastomeric raw materials. Generally, it is best to store any CPC™ product in an environment shielded from light at a temperature between 50°F and 90°F. The shelf life of CPC™ couplings and connections is estimated to be three years minimum if the storage conditions comply with those shown above.

Note: For products containing lubricated o-rings, the lubricant will dry out over time. Before use, it may be advisable to relubricate external O-rings. For products containing silicone O-rings, if lube is allowable, the use of synthetic lube is recommended.
