Quick Coupling technique for connecting two lengths of the Ductall® Vinyl Hose

  1. Advance the wire from one end of the hose pieces by pulling it with pliers. This will reduce the hose diameter slightly.
  2. Snip off the exposed wire close to the vinyl covering. Then bend the remaining end of the wire back inside the vinyl covering.
  3. Cement can be applied outside this prepared section should a more positive seal be desired. Screw the prepared section of the hose into the hose to be joined with it by rotating it counterclockwise. Joint will be secure upon completion of 2 or more full turns.
  4. When connecting hoses, ensure the inner joint is downstream with the flow.
