Glass is always best as it will handle all essential oils without breaking down. However,
FEP plastic bottles and containers also do a great job of storing essential oils. It all depends on the type of oil that you are using. Most oils permeate plastic containers, making them soft and gummy in texture. We have found that there are less volatile essential oils that can be used with other plastics such as PET, PP, and PVC.
Usually, one must test their application before purchasing large quantities.
