What container is best for storing acetone?
Q. Which container is best for storing and for dispensing acetone?
A. Acetone is an extremely flammable liquid and vapor. The vapor is heavier than air and may spread long distances, making distant ignition and flashback possible. The plastic best suited for storing acetone is Teflon ® (FEP, TFE, and PFA).
We also have containers that are used for dispensing purposes and must not be used for storage. Our wash bottles with eye-catching letters will meet dispensing applications only.
