What container is best for storing acetone?

Acetone is a highly flammable liquid and vapor. The vapor is heavier than air and may spread long distances, making distant ignition and flashback possible. The plastic best suited for storing acetone is TeflonĀ® (FEP, TFE, and PFA). We also have dispensing containers that must not be used for storage. Our wash bottles with eye-catching letters will meet dispensing applications only.
