Can the Acetate or Mylar Films be Used to Enclose a Porch or Window?

Mylar and Acetate films are not recommended to be used to enclose porches or windows. First, they are not UV stabilized, and second, they are brittle and tear easily because they are just thin films.

The only thing that we recommend for enclosing a porch or window is acrylic sheeting.
