Is PVC duct rated for pressure?

PVC duct will not withstand any pressure (PSI); therefore, there are no pressure ratings for ductwork like there are for SCH40 and SCH80 PVC pipe. There is a collapse pressure measured in the water gauge. As a general rule, the duct will withstand up to -10" WG static pressure until you reach the larger sizes (18" – 24"). Then it decreases to around -8" WG static pressure.
