Can petroleum based products be stored in polyethylene tanks?

No, we do not recommend using our tanks to store petroleum products. Petroleum products will permeate (soften) the tank's wall. Also, Aromatic Hydrocarbons and Halogenated Hydrocarbons are not recommended to be stored in polyethylene tanks.
