What is the difference between FKM and Buna-N? Why would I choose one over the other?

Buna-N (Nitrile) is Acrylonitrile-butadiene (the copolymer of Butadiene).

FKM is a fluoroelastomer. The reason one might choose one over the other is chemical resistance. If you need help selecting which one is best for your application, please contact our technical department.
