Can USP weld a fitting onto any of the tanks?

Our manufacturing department can weld fittings into the Tamco Polyethylene and Polypropylene tanks we stock here. Normally, we install the Bossweld fittings that have regular parts numbers (listed below). To be quoted on a tank with one of these fittings, you need to include a drawing or instructions for fitting location and size.

  • 900134 - 1/2" Polyethylene welded in Boss fitting
  • 900141 - 3/4" Polyethylene welded in Boss fitting
  • 900142 - 1" Polyethylene welded in Boss fitting
  • 970179 - 1-1/2" Polyethylene welded in Boss fitting
  • 970178 - 3" Polyethylene welded in Boss fitting
  • 970112 - 3/4" Polypropylene welded in Boss fitting

These are also available loose if you want to weld them in yourself.

We can also have polyethylene and polypropylene barbed fittings and polypropylene couplings welded into the Tamco Polyethylene and Polypropylene tanks. There are no part numbers for these, and they would have to be quoted by the quotes department. Their email is quotes@usplastic.com
