High level drum alarms enable pumping into chemical drums without overfilling. When the liquid level in the drum rises above the protected float switch, a loud buzzer sounds, and an LED flashes. The alarms include a long-lasting lithium-ion battery for years of uninterruptible use and a low-battery alert. Adjusting the depth of the alarm is done by simply loosening the thumb knob on the lid and positioning the pipe to the desired depth by hand for a minimum of 2" and a maximum of 7" (alarm only) or 5" (alarms with liquid feed pipe). The float switch is protected inside the pipe from physical damage, making it easy to store and transfer to another container. Models are available with liquid feed pipes of varying sizes or without a feed pipe. For systems with automatic filling, the alarms with the feeding pipe are an excellent option, as the pipe is inseparable from the float switch, guaranteeing the alarm stays with the feed pipe. These models have a slip-on cap for easy transferring from drum to drum and fit a 2" bung. The cap shields the bung opening from debris and suppresses noxious vapors, even liquid ammonia, and the secure compression tubing connection eliminates air leakage into feed lines. The alarms without the liquid feed pipe are ideal for manual filling applications and can fit a 3/4" bung. Accessories, including an AC power cord, 30-minute silencer button, relay output, and wireless transmitter/receiver, are available; contact us for a quote.
