These pans are designed to hold a 50 lb. mineral salt block for livestock. The unique and practical design features ribs that support the salt block above the bottom of the pan to allow for water drainage, with large drain holes to prevent accelerated dissolution of the block. The pans resist cracking at low temperatures for outdoor use and have four convenient handgrip openings on the bottom for easy handling.
