PVC Flexible Couplings

The dimensional flexibility of these couplings ensures leak-proof seals on cast iron or plastic pipe to cast iron or plastic pipe. Provides a positive seal against infiltration and exfiltration. They are leakproof, rootproof and are resistant to chemicals, ultraviolet rays, fungus growth, and normal sewer gases. Conforms to ASTM D 5926, C 1173 and CSA B602 and applicable portions of ASTM C 443, C 425, C 564 and D 1869. Approved by SBCC, BOCA, and UPC codes, they are made of tough, elastometric PVC plastic. Stainless steel clamps are corrosion-resistant and rustproof. Installation torque: 60 lbs. Maximum test pressure: 4.3 PSI (29.6KPA). Maximum operating temperature is 140º F non-consistent and minimum operating temperature is -30° F. Not for use with potable water.
