These 3-way valves are often used for mixing, switching, or diverting flow paths in HVAC, plumbing, or industrial applications. The quick-change flange connections allow for replacement or inspection in seconds instead of time-consuming threaded liquid handling systems. Easy to use, there is no pipe thread installation, chance of cross-threading, pipe sealant, or cure time needed, saving time and money. The self-aligning ball moves freely against the PTFE seats for smooth operation. The ball is diamond turned after molding to make it spherically perfect, which provides precise contact between the ball and the seats. These bottom load valves offer directional flow (right or left), and can be turned off to stop the flow. A 90° mounting bracket for valves with square endplates is sold separately.
