TALON™ Purple Low VOC Primer is a Low VOC solvent cement primer for all PVC, ABS, and CPVC pipe and fittings. TALON™ Purple Low VOC Primer is formulated with a blend of powerful solvents, which makes it a fast-acting primer that removes any glaze often found on plastic pipe and fittings and softens the plastic so that it will readily accept the appropriate plastic solvent cement. At the same time, it dyes the plastic surface purple to show where the primer has been applied.
