This tape is made of dead-soft, high-tensile aluminum foil backing coated with a high-performance solvent-based acrylic adhesive, protected by a removable silicone paper liner. The malleable foil is designed to conform well to irregular and curved surfaces, and the aggressive adhesive provides a quick, positive grab to surfaces. The tape performs well at both low and elevated temperatures and can be applied at low temperatures. Ideal for use in HVAC, construction, electrical, and industrial industries, the tape provides effective vapor barrier and air leakage protection, waterproof sealing, heat reflection and dissipation, and protection for masking operations during paint stripping and electroplating. This industrial, higher temperature version is also excellent for die-cutting, protecting outdoor cable splices, metal patching, and sound-damping applications.
