Black Viton™ Fluorocarbon (FKM) Rubber Cord Stock is a solid, continuously extruded rubber profile designed for applications requiring excellent resistance to chemicals and high temperatures. Commonly cut to length or spliced to create custom seals, gaskets, O-rings, cushioning components, and other fabricated parts, Viton™ offers outstanding resistance to a broad range of chemicals, oils, water, and elevated temperatures. Its durable performance makes it well-suited for demanding applications in power generation, automotive, chemical and food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, and other industrial environments. This black cord stock also features a slightly higher tensile strength rating than brown for applications requiring increased pressure capability.
