The high-performance, self-latching door features a fail-safe 3-point stainless steel latch system. Manual-close opens 180° and self-close to 140°, ensuring secure closure when pushed shut for maximum fire protection. Continuous piano hinges support consistent, reliable door operation. For added security, the innovative U-Loc™ handle engages the mandatory latch without manual rotation. Each cabinet includes a cylinder lock and key set, with the option to use a padlock instead. Highly visible Haz-Alert™ reflective labels reading “FLAMMABLE – KEEP FIRE AWAY” remain easy to identify in low-light conditions or during power outages when illuminated with a flashlight. The 15-gallon model includes one galvanized steel SpillSlope® shelf that channels spills toward the rear and into a 2-inch leak-tested sump compliant with EPA requirements. The shelf is adjustable on 3-inch centers, meets ANSI MH28.1 standards, and supports up to 350 lbs of evenly distributed weight. Welded shelf hangers interlock with the shelf for maximum stability, eliminating the need for loose brackets.
