Temporary berm seals off spills from the environment, nearby drains, and doorways. Flexible Ultra-Spill Berm® will bend and turn to form almost any shape while temporarily "bonding" to any smooth surface. Due to the nature of softer urethane, the physical properties of these products may change with exposure to environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and UV radiation. Regular inspection of the stored product should be conducted to ensure it remains usable. It is also important that the Ultra-Spill Berm does not touch itself, as over time, the contact areas will fuse together. This can be prevented by using the cardboard separators in the case the unit is shipped in or by wrapping the entire spill berm with plastic sheeting. Applications include spill response, temporary secondary containment, and sealing off of doorways during washdown operations.
