DuoClick™ tubes feature a unique screw closure system that eliminates traditional snap-cap culture tubes' excess force, splashing, and general frustration. The advanced cap design includes two distinct positions for aerobic and anaerobic culturing. Rotate the cap a quarter-turn to the first click to secure the cap in the aerobic position so that the cap is secured but not airtight. Rotate it another half-turn past the second click for a leakproof, airtight seal for anaerobic culturing. Sterile tubes are gamma sterilized and are available in a variety of formats. Polypropylene tubes can be centrifuged at up to 4000 x g.
