The solid wall clear fittings have UV-resistant additives that allow them to be utilized in applications with indirect or filtered outdoor or fluorescent exposure. DuraClear is excellent for applications including pool and spa setups, aquariums, trade show displays, housing for colored soaps in car washes, and housing for lights. Note: Fittings are designed to fit over the outside wall of the PVC pipe and are slip by slip. External fittings can accommodate thinner wall pipe as the outer diameter does not change; only wall thickness does (all sizing is approximate).
