Tank Vent Caps

These all-plastic mushroom-style tank vent caps, or tank breather caps, keep out rain, debris, airborne seeds, and insects while allowing tanks or enclosures to vent correctly. The caps can be used for roof vent stacks, air intakes, machine cabinets, and exhaust pipes. The electrical-grade PVC material is mineral-filled to provide higher impact resistance and higher temperature service than standard PVC. The threaded caps screw onto a mating thread, and the slip mount caps are often cemented with PVC cement or left loose to be removed easily, depending on the application.

All plastic construction is corrosion-proof
1/2" to 2" sizes have a polypropylene 24 x 24 mesh (800 micron)
3" to 6" sizes have a polypropylene 10 x 10 mesh (2000 micron)
8" size has perforated 1/8" PVC sheet mesh with staggered 1/8" dia. holes
Open area: 58% (1/2" to 2"); 40% (3" to 8")
Max. temperature: 150°F (65°C)
