This sink strainer provides a simple and effective solution to one of the most common laboratory problems of losing valuable magnetic stir bars down the drain. Designed for use in a variety of sink drains, this flexible, chemical-resistant strainer traps stir bars before they can be washed away, saving both time and expense. Featuring four strong magnets embedded in each corner, the strainer securely attracts and holds magnetic stir bars in place. Its wide skirt and long side slits allow liquids to drain quickly, while four sturdy legs on the underside prevent the strainer from being dislodged by flowing liquid. The straight edge enables placement close to sink walls, maximizing usable space. To use, place the strainer upright in the sink drain with the Scienceware® logo visible. Periodically inspect and clean the strainer as needed.
