The sterile specimen container is made from clear polylactic acid (PLA), a plant-based material, both vial and cap. It only has a sterile inner surface and is leak-resistant with the included screw-on lid. The container is marked in 10mL increments up to 110mL. It is intended for single-patient use. Made from plant material, the renewable and industrially compostable material produces zero waste.
