What is the difference between a Straight and a Shut-Off quick disconnect coupling?
Q. Is there a difference between quick disconnect couplings?
A. Yes, there is a difference between the quick disconnect couplings and the inserts. The quick disconnect couplings and inserts are great for liquids and gases. They allow an instant disconnect and reconnect feature.
The Straight Thru feature allows your product to continue to flow when coupling and insert are disconnected from each other.
The Shutoff feature shuts off the flow of your product when the coupling and insert are disconnected from each other.
