These compostable cups are made from quality SFI-certified paperboard sourced from sustainably managed forests and lined with PLA (polylactic acid), a cornstarch-based resin. The cups can be used to serve hot and cold beverages and are freezer and microwave safe for convenience and reliability. The cups also feature an attractive patterned design, so the food presentation isn't boring. The compostable lids, sold separately, are made of CPLA (crystallized polylactic acid), a modified corn-based plastic. As their corn-based material is renewable, sustainable, and petroleum-free, these cups & lids are an excellent eco-friendly option!
