1/2" Push-to-Connect x 1/2" MIP SharkBite® Max™ Brass Angle Stop Valve

The SharkBite® Max™ fittings, with their innovative push-to-connect design, offer a time-saving solution for quick and easy installation when connecting two pieces of potable water pipe. Ideal for working in tight spaces, these brass push-to-connect fittings can be installed in wet lines with no special tools, crimping, soldering, or glue required. This efficient installation process saves time and reduces the chances of installation errors, making your work more productive. Note: John Guest® is upgrading to SharkBite® Max™. This replaces USP #59578.

• DZR lead-free brass body; stainless steel retainer
• Connect PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE SDR-9 pipe
• Can be installed on wet lines & pressure tested immediately
• Retainer adds strength & durability
• No special tools, crimping, soldering, or glue required
• Can be rotated after installation; No tube liner is required for PEX
• Max. working pressure: 250 psi (except 89608 is 125 psi)
• Max. working temperature: 200°F (except 89608 is 160°F)
• 25-year warranty when properly installed on PEX, copper, CPVC & PE-RT; 5 years with HDPE SDR-9
• Can be easily removed using a disconnect clip, tongs, or pro disconnect tool (sold separately)
