Glass Separatory Funnels

These pear-shaped borosilicate glass funnels include a PTFE stopcock (compliant with ASTM E675 standards) and a plastic stopper. The funnels also feature a marking spot and large white block letters for easy identification of capacity, as per ASTM E1096. The funnels are used in laboratories to separate a mixture of liquids into two immiscible (non-mixing) solvent phases of different densities. This process is called a liquid-liquid extraction.
